Invitation to attend the Notre Dame vs. Purdue football game
The Notre Dame Club of Akron has sponsored a bus trip to at least 1 ND home football game each year for the past 6-7 years. There are still seats available for this year's trip.
Net proceeds from the bus trip support two of the core missions of the Notre Dame Club of Akron: 1) Scholarships for Akron-area students attending Notre Dame; 2) Support for the summer community service program which allows 2 Notre Dame students to spend their summer in Akron working with special needs children as counselors at Camp Christopher in Bath. The summer service students earn a small stipend and they earn educational credits toward graduation (not to mention the benefits to the children at Camp Christopher).
The cost of the bus trip is $175 for members of the Notre Dame Club of Akron and $195 for non-members. However, anyone who mentions Hoban when ordering the tickets will get the "member" price. Here's what you get when you buy a ticket on the bus:
- 1 ticket to the ND vs. Purdue Game sitting with 50 "friends" from Northeast Ohio. This is the first game under the new head coach, Brian Kelly and the weather should be excellent.
- Continental breakfast on the bus
- Snacks and drinks, (both non-alcoholic and beer) both to and from South Bend
- Boxed dinner after the football game
- Plenty of fun and Notre Dame spirit

Hoban Alumni Association
The alumni association was established in 1977 to promote the welfare of the school through educational, social and charitable programs and activities. It also serves as a vehicle through which graduates may maintain contact with their alma mater.
Alumni Association Meetings
Meetings are open to all graduates and are held in the Maynard Family Foundation Center for Institutional Advancement at Hoban. Three meetings are held per year.
