Glenmary Farm

In the hills of rural Eastern Kentucky, the Glenmary Home Missioners run a retreat-like immersion experience for high school groups to perform Christian service for the Appalachian poor.  A group of 22 Hoban juniors and seniors, will spend a week, from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, working, praying and reflecting.
Activities include helping build houses, visiting nursing homes and interacting with the locals. There is time every day for homework. Campus minister Scott Kopp and teachers Micah Kraus and Cindi Kinnan will accompany the group.  For more information, visit  http://www.glenmary.org/farm/default.htm
