
Vincent Burns is the 2009 Recipient of the Youth Justice Award presented by the Catholic Commission of Summit County. He is a member of the class of 2010. The winner of this award must:
- Demonstrate a strong and active commitment to the concept of social justice in harmony with biblical values.
- Be a positive force for promoting change through the student's school, community or church.
- Exhibit a personal lifestyle that serves as an example to peers and one that reflects a spirit of solidarity with the poor.
Burns described what it means to be a Knight. “Who I am is different because I came to Hoban," he said. "I am learning compassion for the poor both down the street through my service hours and across the globe through Banglabash. My education is achieved in the classroom, but also in the halls, down the street, and around the world. This education is what will define me after I graduate and this education is what defines Hoban.”
