Hoban and Jason Dzik were awarded an GAR Foundation Educator Initiative Grant to fund a project called the Akron Innovation Series. This series will include a number of external events and competitions for local high school students to develop and practice key 21st century skills. The events will be sorted into three tracks (entrepreneurship, problem solving, and leadership) and will include opportunities for students to work directly with Akron business and community leaders. Expanded experiential learning and networking opportunities will drive the initiative.
