Art students visit photography studio

Students in the Art Career Field Experience class visited the studio of Tim Fitzwater Photography Jan. 22 to learn about work as a commercial photographer. Mr. Fitzwater gave a tour of his studio, demonstrated studio lighting and Photoshop editing techniques and talked about his career. In coming weeks, students will learn about art careers while visiting the Akron Art Museum and the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Progressive Insurance Art Collection, Bridgestone Tire Company, L+P Architecture and several more art-oriented businesses. The course culminates in an art-intensive trip to New York City, which will include time spent with Hoban alumni working in art and design fields.
