Ashley Horton ’04 presents Voices in the Crowd

Hoban graduate Ashley Horton ’04 will present to Hoban students on Monday, March 14 as part of Hoban's Voices in the Crowd speaker series. Horton will virtually meet with students from Pittsburgh where she practices law. Her practice focuses on railroad defense, with a particular emphasis on the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) and occupational disease litigation. She has been a member of several trial teams obtaining defense verdicts in FELA litigation. In addition, she is well versed in matters relating to product liability and general litigation, including medical malpractice and nursing home defense, as well as insurance defense. She litigates cases in multiple state and federal courts across the country.

As a student, Horton was a talented student-athlete who then studied law and played basketball at Case Western Reserve University. She will discuss women in leadership and her academic and career journey.
