Boys golf enjoying record-breaking season

The boys golf team set a new school record with a team total of 272 at Portage Country Club on Sept. 8. Junior Solomon Petrie finished the round with a 62 score, earning tournament medalist with sophomore Nolan Haynes just behind at 64. Senior Josh Wright and freshman Jack Vojtko each shot 73. The Knights finished 18 strokes ahead of second-place St. Ignatius. Additionally, the team placed first at the Bruin Classic at Pine Hills on Sept. 17. The team score was 290. Petrie shot 70 (Medalist), Vojtko 71 (Runner-Up), Haynes 73 (fourth place), sophomore Jake Ryan shot a 76 (fifth), Wright had 82, and freshman Charlie Hite had 90.
