Hoban joins the greater Akron community in mourning the loss of Phil Maynard, Class of 1960. Phil was a longtime member and chairman of Hoban's board of directors. His lasting legacy will forever be cherished by his loving family, his Hoban family and so many other worthy local organizations.

Eternal rest grant unto him O, Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Per Phil's wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private ceremony will be held for the family. Donations may be made to Archbishop Hoban High School or to the Maynard Family Foundation.
