Dr. Joe Congeni, Director of Sports Medicine at Akron Children’s Hospital, spoke  to the anatomy and physiology classes on Jan 17. He tested the students’ knowledge of the muscular and skeletal systems. According to teacher Amie Mancine, the students were engaged and enjoyed interacting with Congeni and answering his questions. “He is an inspiration to those wanting to do sports medicine as a career,” she said. “He is a dedicated member of many of our sports teams. It is a privilege to have him come to Hoban for a visit.”
