Due to COVID-19 and a limited ability to volunteer at traditional service sites, Hoban's signature Christian service program JAM (Justice Akron Ministry) was adapted to be an at-home JAM program for freshmen, sophomores and juniors. Over a three-week period, 110 Hoban students served their families and communities and learned more about how to be good stewards of God's creation. They also participated in various, virtual activities.

Forty-five of the JAM senior leaders also participated in service at various sites in the Akron area that accepted a limited number of volunteers.
