The 2020 recipient of the Brother André Heart of Holy Cross Award is Evelyn Thoman. This honor, now in its fourth year, is bestowed on a senior who has taken the Holy Cross mission to heart and follows the example of St. André Bessette, the first member of the Congregation of Holy Cross to be canonized a saint. The recipient welcomes all and shows care and concern for the whole Hoban community. Each member the of Hoban community who encounters this award winner is always shown the hospitality of Christ.
