2025 One Hope-One Dream Award
James Finley ’61 and Tona Boyd ’99 have been named the 2025 One Hope-One Dream Award recipients. Both alumni embody and model the values, attitudes and actions of Dr. King, living out a dream that brings hope to others. James and Tona will be recognized at an all-school assembly on Friday, Jan. 31, during Catholic Schools Week.
The One Hope-One Dream award was created in 2003 and recognizes Hoban graduates whose values, attitudes and behaviors exemplify living out a dream that brings hope to others. The award recalls the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech and incorporates the Holy Cross motto, “Spes Unica,” which is Latin for “one hope.”
