Academic Challenge takes second place

Hoban’s Academic Challenge team had four victories at the tournament at the University of Kent State on Tuesday, Feb. 8. The Knights won against Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, CVCA and Green High Schools, and lost by a razor-thin margin to STVM. Seniors Rachael Rice and Adam Slawienski, junior Ryan Yovichin, sophomore Annie Fuhrer and freshman Samantha Loos finished a great Summit County season. The Knights will next compete against Louisville and Perry High Schools on Cleveland Channel 5’s Academic Challenge show, airing on April 2.
