Academic Challenge team advances to state
The varsity Academic Challenge team had a fine performance on April 17 at the Ohio Academic Challenge regional tournament. Hoban’s team placed third out of 12 teams after five intense rounds of competition against Our Lady of the Elms, Hudson, Salem and Revere. The team will advance to the OAC state tournament to take place on May 1. If you see Owen Kovalik, Jonathan Popa, Rachael Rice, Maddie Mlachak or Annie Fuhrer, wish them good luck at states.
