Book Club goes to Youngstown State for English Festival

Students in Hoban's Book Club had a blast at Youngstown State University's 41st annual English Festival April 10. Over 30 schools from Northeast Ohio participated in activities throughout the day, including writing competitions, discussions with authors  and college course-type workshops. In preparation for this event, the students in the Book Club have been reading the English Festival book list since October. Junior Alexis Smith represented Hoban at the awards ceremony by being a member of the First Place team in the Writing Games Activity.
