Browns to help fund new Hoban practice fields
The Cleveland Browns, the NFL Foundation and LISC Sports and Recreation have awarded Hoban a $250,000 grant to help finance the resurfacing of Hoban’s grass fields with synthetic turf. The two fields will be used by the Hoban football, soccer, lacrosse and softball teams as well as by multiple youth football organizations in the neighborhood surrounding Hoban. It is projected that more than 6,000 student athletes at Hoban and beyond will use the new, turfed fields within the first year. This capital improvement project will be completed over the summer months, allowing fall sports to take full advantage of the facilities. More information.
