Fricker, Coffman place 2nd in state in Science Olympiad

Hoban’s Science Olympiad team competed at the state tournament Sept. 26-27 against some of the most talented teams in the nation. Senior Lauren Fricker and junior Ayaka Coffman placed second in the state in the Write It Do It event. The state tournament is the culmination of outstanding team performances from Ohio's eight regions. Eighty teams are invited to Ohio State University for a challenging competition and a chance to qualify for the national tournament May 21- June 1 at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
