GAR president delivers commencement speech

Christine Amer Mayer, president of GAR Foundation, was chosen as commencement speaker for 2019. She guides the foundation’s strategic direction and annual grantmaking. An Akron native, Mayer practiced commercial litigation and business law for eight years with Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs. She joined GAR as a program officer and was named president in 2012.
