Hoban chapter of NHS inducts new members

A total of 62 students–57 juniors and five seniors--were inducted into Hoban's Seat of Wisdom chapter of the National Honor Society on May 12, 2019, in Holy Cross Chapel. The program began with an invocation given by junior Veronica McDowell and a Welcome by Mrs. Laura Siplivy, NHS co-adviser. Student speakers on the NHS attributes were junior Alec Haas on Scholarship, senior Lauren Patterson on Service, junior Madeline Owen on Leadership and senior George Hudak on Character. Following a candle lighting ceremony, the new inductees recited the NHS membership pledge. After final remarks by Dr. Emily Ramos, principal, there was a reception in Moreau Ministry Hall.
