Hoban social studies chair earns Ph.D.
Holy Cross educator and Chair of the Social Studies Department Jason Anderson recently completed his Doctor of Philosophy in History degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. His dissertation, "Undivided Loyalty and Unwavering Leadership: The Life and Times of David Wooster (1710-1777)," is the first full biography of General Wooster. He will be submitting the manuscript to several university presses this summer to seek publication of the work.
Anderson has been a social studies teacher at Hoban since 2001. He has created several courses, including Museum Studies, Archaeology and the Center for Independent Research in Social Studies.
