Math students fair well in competition

Hoban entered three teams of three students in the Stark State Mathematics Competition this past weekend. Overall, 20 teams participated.
All of the Hoban teams placed:

• 2nd place: Junior Charlie Hite, Senior Joey Markowski, Senior Mukun (Harvey) Zhou
• 3rd place: Senior Colin Doss, Junior Carolyn Rinaldi, Senior Francis Rinaldi
• 5th place: Junior Jimmy Bordenkircher, Junior Bobby Kostko,  Sophomore Alex Lin

And individually, out of 70 students:

• Colin Doss, 1st place
• Joey Markowski, 3rd place
• Mukun (Harvey) Zhou, 4th place
• Bobby Kostko, 7th place
• Francis Rinaldi, 9th place
• Alex Lin, 10th place
