Osmun speaks at First Friday Club of Akron
Senior Joey Osmun will speak at the March 5 meeting of the First Friday Club of Greater Akron at the Tangier Restaurant. He and student-representatives from Walsh Jesuit, St. Vincent-St. Mary and Our Lady of the Elms will speak on the topic: How God Has Walked With Me Through High School. The First Friday Club was founded in August 1999. Its purpose is to bring the best Catholic thinkers, teachers and leaders to Akron on a monthly basis to promote a better understanding of the significant issues impacting church, family, work and community life. The luncheon consistently draws from 200 to 250 people from Greater Summit County.
Also attending on March 5 were Tom Crowe, Dominic DeMascio, Olivia Osmun, Tommy Radabaught and Jackie Turk.
