Winners of car raffle announced

Nick and Eileen Mlachak, parents of sophomore Madeline, are the winners of a new Chevrolet Cruz in Hoban’s annual car raffle. They are shown here receiving the keys from Mike Del Medico, Vice President of Advancement. Van Devere Chevrolet has donated a car for the past nine years as part of its Thrive and Drive program. Students sell tickets for $10 each on behalf of the teams and cocurricular organizations to which they belong. A full 100 percent of proceeds goes to the team or club selling the tickets. The raffle has allowed students to raise more than $600,000. This year’s raffle brought in nearly $82,000.
