It's re-enrollment season. This page supports the 2022-23 academic re-enrollment and course registration process for current Hoban students in Classes 2023, 2024 and 2025.
RE-ENROLLMENT 2022-23
Hoban has transitioned to a new, school-wide student information system called Blackbaud Services. Parents of current freshmen, sophomores and juniors will re-enroll students for the 2022-23 school year in this new system.
RE-ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS
- Parents received an email from hoban@myschoolapp.com. This email will include a link to create your hoban.myschoolapp.com account. If you did not receive this email, please email Christine Hahn.
- Click on the link in the email to create your hoban.myschoolapp.com account, using your email address (to which you received the invitation email) as the username
- Create a secure password
- Check your email again for a confirmation message to verify your account. Follow the link in your confirmation message
- Once you are logged in, click on Checklist. If you have multiple students, you can view the checklist per student or collectively
- Complete all outstanding steps in the checklist(s) by March 15, 2022

COURSE REGISTRATION
During the second semester, Hoban students and educators look forward to and prepare for next fall. This is an important time for all students as they continue on their educational path. Providing a rigorous curriculum and meaningful learning opportunities for all students is an important part of the Hoban mission. The Office of Student Services takes significant time to meet individually with each student to build their schedule. This is no small task, and therefore this page was designed to help parents and guardians make informed decisions about course selections. Important dates, links and information are outlined below. For additional information about course registration, please contact your student’s counselor.
Students will begin the scheduling process during their English classes during the week of Feb. 14. Scheduling will take place in the Holy Cross Room.
COURSE REGISTRATION VIDEO
Students watch a tutorial video about the course registration process during the week of January 24 during religion classes. Members of the Student Services team are present to answer questions.

When making course selections, students and families are encouraged to refer to the 2022-2023 Hoban Course Catalog which contains important information and course descriptions.

COURSE SELECTION FORMS
Course selection forms are given to students by the Office of Student Services. Digital copies are available below:
ELECTIVE AND HONORS APPLICATIONS
The applications linked below are the Electives with a: *require a prerequisite or teacher recommendation and electives with **require an application.
Applications for electives may be distributed in current English, social studies and visual arts classes. Please note important dates on each application.
English
Students applying for Honors English 10, AP English Language and Composition, or AP English Literature and Composition should complete an application, along with a timed write.
Social Studies
Students applying for ACC United States Government, AP European History, AP or ACC United States History, or Archeological Studies must complete the appropriate application.
Fine Arts
Students applying for Yearbook should complete an application
WAIVER FORM
This waiver should be submitted to the student's counselor by Feb. 23.

Counselors discuss the registration process in religion classes
FEBRUARY 2
Applications for relevant elective and honors classes are due to the Central Office.

Counselors meet with students for course selections

Course selection sheets, with parents' approval signature, are due for on-campus students
