Each year, Hoban students never cease to amaze their teachers, peers and themselves. We proudly celebrate individuals and groups of students for their accomplishments in the classroom and beyond.
2026 National Merit Commended Students
Archbishop Hoban High School is proud to announce seven seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. Reighan Brooks, Philip Constant, Danielle Ferree, Katherine Folk, Alexander Haran, Sutherland Moore (not pictured) and Sascha Paonessa are recognized for their exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry.
About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their academic successes. Although they will not continue in the 2026 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2026 competition by taking the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
