It’s never too early to start exploring your future options. Starting your high school journey in seventh grade gives you a head start on choosing the right school and understanding the opportunities available.
7TH-GRADE VISIT
Monday, March 16, 2026 | 9 a.m.—1 p.m.
Join us to experience life as a Hoban Knight!
Spend the day with students from various schools and learn about Hoban’s college prep curriculum, connect with Holy Cross educators and students, and charge forward during a Hoban pep assembly.
Lunch is provided, and registration is required ONLY for students not attending as a group with their school.

All students in seventh grade who attend a school that does not register as a group are welcome to register individually.
7TH-GRADE PLACEMENT TEST AND PREP COURSE
Prep Course & Test
June 8-11, 2026
The three-day 7th-Grade Placement Test Prep Course will prepare students to take the placement test. Students will learn about the test and complete practice questions with two of Hoban's Holy Cross educators. The Prep Course registration fee is $150, which includes the fee to take the placement test on June 11.
Prep Course: June 8-10, 9-11 a.m.
Placement Test: June 11, 8 a.m. (Prep course registration includes the testing fee on June 11)

Get a jumpstart on the admission process, and take the high school placement test in June! Taking the placement test is a mandatory step to apply to Hoban. Test scores will be considered for merit-based scholarships. Parents and families are invited to attend an information session while students test.
Testing will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at noon. Students who require testing accommodations have until 2 p.m. to complete the test.
