Holy Cross Pathways
A journey toward independence and enhanced life skills, grounded in the Holy Cross tradition, as each student walks a path to academic success.
Named in recognition of the school’s connection to and sponsorship by the Brothers of Holy Cross, Holy Cross Pathways provides a structured, supportive learning environment led by a full-time teacher and intervention specialist.
Students enrolled at Hoban through the Holy Cross Pathways program will receive:
- Modified curriculum and instruction
- Tailored academic content to meet individual needs
- Elective courses alongside peers to foster inclusivity and community
- Focused instruction to support academic growth, career readiness and postsecondary preparedness
- Spiritual education, Christian service and spiritual engagement opportunities and activities
- A high school diploma upon completion of the four-year program
Please Note: The Holy Cross Pathways program is exclusively available to students entering the ninth grade. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept transfer students into this program, as it is a structured, four-year curriculum that must be completed in sequence from freshman through senior year.

It would be a serious mistake to open a school imagining that all the students will be alike in character and conduct. It will do little good, then, to use the same procedures in working with every student. You would be like a doctor who always gives the same remedy for every illness.
