The 19-team field featured varsity teams from six of the top 11 finishers in the 2019 Ohio Div-I state golf finals (Dublin Jerome, Hoban, St. Ignatius, Walsh Jesuit, Brunswick, Ashland)

On their first day returning to school, the Knights, who finished as the Div-I state runner-up last season, made a strong statement shooting a school record 272, besting event runner-up St. Ignatius, who posted a strong 290 score.

Event medalist was Hoban junior Solomon Petrie, who carded an 8 under par 62. Runner-up medalist was Hoban sophomore Nolan Haynes with 6 under par 64.
