Hoban is a member of the Greater Akron High School Bowling Conference. Other members are Buchtel, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, East, Ellet, Firestone, Kenmore-Garfield, North, Our Lady of the Elms, St. Vincent St. Mary and Walsh Jesuit.

Varsity Head Coach: Dennis Holodnak
Assistant Coach: Jimmy Bowling
Dennis Holodnak was hired as the head boys and girls bowling coach in 2004. Since then he has led both teams and individuals to have very successful high school careers. Multiple athletes have moved on to participate in bowling programs at the collegiate level. Dennis is a retired police officer, and retired from the National Guard. He continues to bowl competitively in multiple leagues and tournaments, traveling across the country.
