Willie Davis

The boys tennis program will be led by current Hoban girls basketball assistant coach Willie Davis. He has spent 34 years coaching basketball, the last six at Hoban. Davis is excited to continue developing the boys tennis program and making an impact on the lives of student-athletes. Davis, who has been an athlete all his life, played football at the University of Akron. He is a retired firefighter after serving 33 years in the community. His focus to detail will spill over onto the court as he refines student-athletes' technique and footwork, developing angles and enhancing a competitive mindset.
