12 Days of Christmas

Each year Student Council sponsors the 12 Days of Christmas before Christmas break. Students can participate in Christmas themed days and activities with the opportunity to bring in donations for the those in need. 

MONDAY, DEC. 5, 2022

Ugly Sweaters and Santa Hats

Students are permitted to wear ugly Christmas sweaters and Santa hats with jeans or uniform bottoms.

  • Students not participating must be in regular dress code.

Christmas coloring contest begins today! (due Dec. 13)

  • Pick up sheets in the Central Office!
  • $25 Hoban store gift cards to TOP 3 winning students!
     

TUESDAY, DEC. 6

St. Nick’s Day

St. Nick will visit students during 2nd period class.

  • Be sure to leave a shoe in the hall outside of your 2nd period classroom for a special treat from St. Nick!

  • Students are permitted to wear Christmas socks with school uniforms.
     

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 7

Christmas Karaoke

Christmas karaoke will be held in Barry Gym during Enrichment A and B. 

  • Come to Barry Gym to either perform your favorite Christmas songs or enjoy your classmates singing theirs!
     

THURSDAY, DEC. 8

Mass day. No Events.

 

FRIDAY, DEC. 9

Breakfast with Santa - Mr. Anderson

Breakfast will be served for lunch today. Students can visit and take pictures with Santa during this time!

Deck the Halls

Christmas door decorations are due at 3 p.m. per Enrichment class. 

  • Plan with your enrichment class the best way to celebrate Hoban Christmas on your classroom door!

  • REMEMBER: Painters tape only, no balloons!

  • Donuts will be rewarded to the TOP 3 winning classes!

Christmas locker decorations are due at 3 p.m. per student.

  • REMEMBER: Painters tape only, no balloons!

  • $10 gift cards will be rewarded to TOP 3 winning students!

 

MONDAY, DEC. 12

Christmas Vacation

Students are permitted to dress down, Christmas Vacation style, with donation of NEW hats or gloves to the Mitten Drive.

  • Beach-themed dress down

  • Leis, Hawaiian shirts, swim trunks

  • Sunscreen, floaties, sandals, bucket hats, Santa hats

 

TUESDAY, DEC. 13

Cookie Decorating

Students can decorate Christmas cookies during their lunch period.

Coloring contest submissions are due today!

  • $25 Hoban store gift cards to TOP 3 winning students!

 

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 14

Polar Express

Students are permitted to dress as passengers on the Polar Express.

  • Pajama pants, sweatpants

  • Onesies, matching pajama sets

    --If you are not wearing a onesie or matching pajama set, students must wear a Hoban top!

  • Slippers, Crocs

 

THURSDAY, DEC. 15

Christmas Scavenger Hunt

Students can search for items around the school to earn prizes!

  • Search for the 15 3-D printed Christmas items hidden around the school.

  • Turn them into Ms. Tuma in Room 132.

  • Candy bars awarded to winning students!
