Medical Mission Trip to Honduras

Father Paul Rosing blesses the group at Holy Family Church.

Seventeen Hoban students, chaperoned by teachers Pachy Bell and Jason Dzik, joined Father Mike Ausperk, a Hoban board member, and 48 medical professionals on the 15th Holy Family Parish Medical Mission to Honduras.

On Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, the team was blessed by Father Paul Rosing and the congregation at Holy Family Church in Stow. The 70-member team departed the United States on Jan. 15 and returned on Jan. 22. It consisted of doctors, dentists,, nurses, pharmacists, and others. The Hoban students, who served as interpreters in the English-Spanish translation, were Alex Coleman, Stephanie Conley, Clare Esposito, Adam Geary, Mariana Gonzalez, Allison Jansen, Abby Kamenar, Catie Knapp, Maggie Kreiner, Rebecca Kubick, Joseph Osmun, Rachael Rice, Riley Scofield, Peter Stitzel, Jackie Turk, Sophie Tylicki and Natalie Vrobel.
