Brother James Spooner Holy Cross Heart and Mind Award
According to Blessed Basil Moreau, the foundation of a Holy Cross school is one in which education and instruction should always be placed side by side, "the mind will not be cultivated at the expense of the heart."
As Holy Cross educators it is our responsibility to prepare our students to be change agents within our society. The Brother James Spooner Holy Cross Heart and Mind Award honors Hoban employees who live Moreau's vision of inspiring the heart and mind.
Similar to the Monsignor Dowed Award, this award singles out a faculty or staff member who makes outstanding contributions of their time, effort and talent to inspire Hoban students.
