Come out and cheer on your Knights. Tonight’s big football game is against St. Ignatius. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Theme is a White Out. Tickets are being sold in the dome entrance until 10 a.m.

Seniors: There will be a ssenior tailgate this evening at 5:30 p.m. at the Wartko Pavilion by the tennis courts.

Any senior who has asked Mr. T.K. Griffith for a letter of recommendation already must give him your college planning resume by the end of the day.

Yearbooks are available for pickup in the business office. There are still many students who have ordered a book who have not picked up their order. If you unsure if you ordered a yearbook, check with the business office.

The Hoban Student Wellness Advisory Group is now forming. If you are interested in being part of the group that will plan and create Hoban's wellness events, we need your input and talents. Let us know what you think is important for student wellness. We will have our initial meeting at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in Room 22. If you have further questions, see Mr. Wagner.

The first math club meeting of the year will be today in Room 231 from 3-4 p.m. All students are welcome. We will look at some creative math problems, play math games and discuss strategies for improving test and contest scores. See Mrs. Kostko for more information. 

Attention all students: Don’t forget student council is in search of these items to be donated for Mum Day decorations: cleaned-out gallon milk jugs, streamers, balloons and blue painter’s tape. All donations can be dropped off in Room 20. See Mr. Tocchi for any questions.

It's poster party time again! Tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Foley Commons. Come make posters for Mum Day. Everyone is welcome.

Attention Troubadours: Auditions for the fall play will take place today, 3-4 p.m. on the stage. Sign-ups are posted by the stage door. More times will be added as needed. 

Seniors: if you have attended the Spes Unica retreat and would like to apply to be a leader for the November weekend, applications are now available. Check your email for the application, which is due today at 3 p.m.

Saturday, Sept 14, the Hoban bicycle club will ride on the Towpath. We will meet at 9 a.m. at Blimp City Bike and Hike on Merriman Road in the valley. The ride will be about 12 miles long and is open to riders of all abilities. See Mr. Kraus if you have any questions.

The first official Model U.N. meeting of the season will be held at 3 p.m., Monday Sept. 16, in Room 120. We look forward to seeing all returning and new members there. 

Are you still looking for a way to "fit in" at Hoban? Are you feeling a bit out of place? Come to the new Faith and Fellowship and see if this club is right for you. All students are welcome. Plus we have cookies! We will meet every first and third Thursday of the month, starting next week, Sept. 19, from 3-4 in Deacon Ray's room (221). Hope to see you there!

Academic Challenge will hold its first practice of the year on Monday at 3 in Room 130. All interested students are encouraged to attend. If you need more information, please see Mrs. Ball in Room 130 or Senor Bee in room 25. See you on Monday!

Buenos días! Spanish club will have its first meeting this Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m. in Room 26. All are welcome. Hispanic Heritage month begins on Sunday. Come to the meeting with ideas to celebrate. We will also discuss what we will do this year. See Sra. Zeller with questions. Gracias!

Wednesday, Sept 18, the Italian Club will sell cannoli cupcake outside of the teachers lounge right after school. Come get one of these delicious treats and support the club. Each cupcake is $1. Grazie
