Information regarding the Lock-In and Mum Day was shared with seniors during theology classes on September 14 and 15. Please review the important information below so we can make the experience safe, organized and memorable for everyone.
Every senior who plans to stay overnight at school MUST return a hard copy of the permission form by Friday, Sept. 18.
LOCK-IN DINNER
On Thursday evening, Student Council will provide pizza, but we are asking for the following food donations from students:
- Last Name A–F: Side dishes (salads, pasta, rice, fruit or rolls,etc.)
- Last Name G–L: Snacks (chips, dip, salsa, vegetables, pretzels or granola bars, etc.)
- Last Name M–R: Individual drinks (water, cans of pop or juice boxes, etc.)
- Last Name S–Z: Desserts (cookies, brownies or cupcakes, etc.)
Please bring donations according to your last-name grouping so we can ensure there is enough food and a good variety for everyone.
Food donations may be brought to Room 234 during the school day on September 24 or brought directly to the cafeteria when students arrive for the Lock-In.
If an item needs to be refrigerated, please bring it with you when arriving for the Lock-In.
MUM DAY BREAKFAST
We ask that parents help provide breakfast for our seniors. We have a list of items that are needed to make the morning go smoothly. Sign up to help here.
MUM DAY DECORATIONS
Lastly, as a reminder, all of the Mum Day decorations are supplied by the seniors and their families. Please consider donating from the Amazon Wishlist. Donations of blue painter's tape are needed. PLEASE, NO BALLOONS. Decorating supplies can be brought to Room 234, preferably by Monday, Sept. 21. Once the lock-in begins, we cannot go out and buy more supplies, so we need to be well prepared!
Senior Lock-In and Mum Day are special Hoban traditions, and we appreciate our seniors and families helping us make this year's celebration memorable for the Class of 2027.
